Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Safety and Security Seminars have been cancelled.

This one-day course can show you how to recognize threats, build a safety and security team, deal with difficult people and situations, protect your people from harm, and protect your children from predators.

About the Presenters:

Bob Johnson served as the Director of Safety and Security for Christ’s Church of the Valley in
Peoria, Arizona from 2005-2017. His core responsibility was leading a team of more than 350 staff
and volunteers, ensuring the protection of nine campuses with a total of more than 30,000 in weekly
attendance. For the past 48 years, Bob has been actively involved in both public and private sector security. Concurrent with part of this experience, he spent 20 years in the Arizona Army National Guard, reaching the rank of Command Sergeant Major. His military time culminated with assignment to the Arizona Military Academy overseeing leadership and management training for the state’s Officers and NCOs.

For 10 of his 23 years with the Phoenix Police Department, Bob was a Detective with the Organized Crime Bureau. He became proficient in complex multi-agency investigations, working side by side with the FBI, IRS, Secret Service, DEA and other agencies to infiltrate and unravel money laundering, narcotics, gambling, prostitution, fraud, murder for hire and many other state and federal crimes. Bob also served as the Director of Security for Domino’s Pizza’s second largest franchisee and was responsible for 85 stores in Arizona.

In addition to his responsibilities at Christ’s Church of the Valley, he actively assists other churches
as they identify, recruit, train and deploy their safety and security teams. Since 2010, Bob has
traveled the United States conducting safety and security seminars and threat/vulnerability
assessments for churches. In more than 200 training events, Bob has instructed more than
15,000 people from all 50 states and Canada.

Bob has been married for 47 years and has two children and six grandchildren all living in the
Phoenix area.

Bob Wild served as the Director of Finance and Administration and Risk Management for two mega churches in the Phoenix area for more than 25 years: Vineyard Christian Fellowship and Christ’s Church of the Valley. He has served on several boards including the local Phoenix NACBA chapter, CCV Youth Sports Inc., the largest nonprofit youth sports program in Arizona, and Financial Planning Ministry, a national estate planning ministry to the local church.

Bob wrote and self-published an instruction manual for church planters called Growing Your Church From The Ground Up: The Corporate Side. Bob has been published in Church Executive Magazine, Christianity Today, and Group Publishing’s professional edition for their Children’s Magazine.

In 2009, Bob joined the team at Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company as the Sr. Director of
Strategic Alliances. He holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of
Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Business. Bob has four children and three grandchildren.
